Measurement of the volume of smoothly changing streams of purified and dried non-aggressive one- and multicomponent gases (natural gas, air, nitrogen, argon, etc.) when used in plants of industrial and public utilities (to account for gas flow in commercial operations).

The turbine gas meter TRZ consists of a housing (flange version) and a measuring transducer.

Under the influence of the gas flow on the turbine, the latter rotates at a speed proportional to the flow rate (volumetric flow) of gas. The rotation of the turbine using a mechanical gearbox is transmitted to the counting head, showing (incrementally) the total volume of gas under operating conditions, passed through the counter.

The TRZ2 is serially equipped with permanent lubrication bearings as well with the mechanical S1 Index. From ANSI class 300 upwards all meters are equipped with manual oil pump as standard.

Technical details

Operating expenses range: from 5 m³ / h to 6,500 m³ / h.

Diameter of conditional passage: from DN50 to DN300.

Maximum operating gas pressure: 1.6 MPa; 6.3 MPa; 10 MPa - depending on the size of the counter.

Qmin / Qmax measuring range:

1:20 (1:30) - for execution counters "1";

up to 1/80 - for performance meters “2” and “2У” depending on the operating pressure.

Temperature range:

environment from −40 ° С to +70 ° С;

measuring medium from –30 ° С to +60 ° С.

Limits of permissible relative error:

for TRZ G160 Du80 - TRZ G4000 Du300 of versions “1” and “2”:

1% in the flow range from 0.1 Qmax to Qmax,

2% in the range of costs from Qmin to 0.1Qmax;

for TRZ G65 Du50 version "1":

1% in the flow range from 0.2Qmax to Qmax,

2% in the range of costs from Qmin to 0.2 Qmax;

for TRZ G160 Du80 - TRZ G4000 Du300 of the “2U” version:

0.9% in the flow range from Qmin to Qmax.

Intertesting interval: 10 years.
